The ideal candidate will have four years of registered nursing experience to include one year of research nursing and one year of lead/mentor, project management, or supervisory experience.

Salary Range: Min- $90,000 Mid- $112,500 Max- $135,000

Essential Job Functions-

Manages the effective operation of multiple department protocols as designated by the Department Chair in collaboration with the principal investigator or study sponsor. Provides overall coordination and facilitation of research activities and protocol patient care. Collaborates with the physician and/or protocol sponsor regarding protocol design, budgeting, planning, implementation and evaluation. Supervises research activity and is responsible for hiring, development, coaching, evaluating and disciplining department personnel. Assigns work to manage protocol activity and ensure compliance to all standards, policies and quality measures. Coordinates, plans and develops training programs for professional and ancillary staff on research protocols, policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.

Preferred: Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing.

Experience

Required: Four years of registered nursing experience to include one year of research nursing and one year of lead/mentor, project management, or supervisory experience.

Preferred: Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing.

Licensure/Certification

Required: Current State of Texas professional nursing license (RN). Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
