The goal of the department is to perform multidisciplinary research and educational activities in basic and cancer immunology.

The salary range is min $ 46,000 mid $ 57,500 max $ 69,000.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Pathology


1. Extensive pathology and histopathology knowledge for the cancer disease in both human and mouse models.

  1. Extensive experience using histology and immunohistochemistry techniques, quantification and morphometry.

  2. Use of digital cameras, bright light, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, Laser Capture Microdissection microscope, etc.

  3. Experience in th use of digital imaging systems, scanscope (i.e., Aperio system, Vectra, etc.); use of image analysis software for histo-pathologic image analysis.

  4. Extensive knowledge of molecular mechanisms involved in the development and progression of cancer and molecular pathology.

  5. Protein and Molecular techniques and procedures; including but not limited to: western blot analysis, immunohistohemistry, imunofluorescence, fish, etc.

  6. Knowledge of RNA, DNA and protein isolation from various tissues/sources;

  7. Knowledge of the cellular and molecular biology, cancer biology and cellular signaling pathways;

  8. Interpretation and analysis of laboratory data, manuscripts, preparation and grant writing.

  9. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, Image and Photo editors, Image Diagnosis and Analysis (Image Pro plus, Imagescope, or simlar), etc.

  10. Other Duties as Assigned.


Required: Bachelor's degree in one of the natural sciences or related field.


Required: Five years of experience in scientific or experimental research work. With preferred degree, three years of required experience.

Preferred: Pathology experience.
