The primary purpose of the Program Manager, Radiation Oncology position is to provide operational management and coordination of large-scale research initiatives and industry alliances for the Division of Radiation Oncology.
The scope of this includes day-to-day administrative management of research activities, grants, protocols and budgets for the division.
The salary range is min $ 52,800 mid $ 66,000 max $ 79,200.
Provides responsible, decisive action relating to the day-to-day research operations of the division.
Supports administrative planning for large research initiatives. Supports administrative planning for collaborative grants, protocols and contract submissions specific to the Division of Radiation Oncology.
Provides summarized reports of budget projections and activity to administrative and executive leadership. Provide administrative and financial support for the initiative and alliance directors and leaders. Manages budget setups and expense tracking for alliances and initiatives.
Manages internal research grant competitions for developmental or career development funds, including call for proposals, judging, awards, award setup and progress reporting.
Develops and reviews research budgets for accuracy and compliance with institutional/sponsor requirements. Tracks expenses and provides monthly reconciliation and review.
Coordinates with senior leadership, sponsors, Strategic Industry Ventures and the Office of Research to track and report milestones, clinical research activity and outcomes of the alliances and initiatives.
Coordinates the organization of joint steering committee and workgroup meetings, including meeting logistics, meeting materials and minutes.
Other duties as assigned
Required: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare/Business Administration or related field.
Required: Four years administrative/financial management experience to include data gathering, grant planning, preparation to include two years of supervisory/management experience. With preferred degree, two years of experience required. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Preferred: Coordinating projects, programs, financial, budget experience.
