The Photographer serves in a supportive role in creating and implementing the most impactful use of branded, general photography in support of MD Anderson's mission of cancer patient care, research, education and prevention.
The ideal candidate will have technical studio experience. Experience in an in-house creative team environment is preferred.
Studio Portrait Photography
Creates publication quality photographs of staff and faculty in our studio setting.
Works collaboratively with colleagues to effectively post-process digital imagery for client use and our digital archive.
Discovers and shares new ways to improve photographic processes, workflows and techniques.
Creates publication quality, brand appropriate editorial photographs of faculty and staff and special events.
Works collaboratively with colleagues throughout the division to strategize on the creation and use of impactful imagery for both traditional and emerging media formats.
Assists with general photography duties as assigned.
Digital Asset Management Assistance
Assists with the daily processing, curation and editing of digital assets in our digital asset management system.
Assists with digital asset management duties as assigned.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Photography or related field.
Required: Three years of photography experience.
May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
