Organizational Development Associate opportunity in our HR Organization Development (Hourly Position)

The mission of The University of Texas M. D. The consultant works with a team of IO psychologists to apply principles of I-O psychology to solve personnel, management and practical business problems by providing evidence-based solutions by participating in the development and support of a variety of talent management and business systems.

Ideal candidate must have a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field. Prefer Doctorate in Academic and seven years of professional experience to directing complex projects. This position will work on projects and selective survey assessments, validating and implementing pre-employment test, designing surveys and EOS. This is an hourly position and candidate must be able to work 19 hours a week or 38 hours in a two week period.


Selection and Survey Assessments Provides assistance in examining selection practices to include developing, validating and implementing pre-employment tests.

Serves as a member of project team to review and revise the performance management process for classified and administrative staff.

Provides assistance in designing and conducting surveys and other data-gathering methodologies on which to base organizational interventions to include exit interview data collection and reporting process.

Coaching Provides assistance to executives, administrators, managers and their staffs in the form of coaching which is focused on improving work unit performance, manager-employee relationships, human resources management practices, employee performance management, and staff functioning.

Project Management Is disciplined in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing the work of major organizational interventions as a leader/member of a project team to ensure the project team successfully accomplishes its goals.

Change Enablement Facilitates the education and consulting according to MD Anderson's change enablement model to help managers and leaders introduce change into their environment.
