The Human Research Regulations Editor in the MD Anderson Physicians Network provides dedicated editorial expertise and research regulations analysis for the institutional review of research applications.
Writes, edits and recommends revisions for regulatory compliance applications.
Communicate with research faculty and staff to ensure consistency in receipt, editing, and tracking of documents and new protocols.
Manages the publication of regulatory updates and departmental policy changes.
Conducts analysis of research on scientific topics related to clinical trials and the protection of human research subjects.
Prepares and maintains documentation of research applications.
Creates complex reports, collects metrics and participates in department quality assurance.
Develops recommendations on operations and processes.
Maintains institutional databases used in support of clinical research.
Required: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Nursing or related field.
Required: Two years of editing or writing experience.
Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
