MD Anderson Cancer Center Facilities Customer Advocate - Fac Mgt-PC&PF-Bld Care & Ops in Houston, Texas
Interfaces with Internal and external customers to define needs serviced by facilities. Coordinates with facilities to make sure client needs are exceeded. Makes recommendations that enhance the quality of services provided by PCPF.
Primary Contact with facilities customers
Acts in the best interest of both: looks for solutions that maximize satisfaction and minimize disruptions for all involved
•Serves as Liaison with Customers and Supervisors or CADs to coordinate and clarify service expectations through the Service Level Agreements (SLA). Conducts follow up visits to close open issues and perform quality control and satisfaction inquiries to make sure the requests are within the financial parameters
•Coordinates special projects as assigned by supervisor and provides liaison work with the division/department, other divisions/departments within the institution
•Conducts surveys relating to housekeeping and maintenance on a semi-annual basis with customers. Can coincide with the surveys for the Service Level Agreement surveys.
Coordination of public space events with PCPF-Main campus
Coordination on events assignments
•Building operations and event consultation
•Briefing/coordination of services with other departments
•Real time event services management
•Event coordination with Conference Services (CSS)
•Utilizes Public Space Reservation System
•Represent Facilities Management on Events Committee
•Prepares Facilities/Housekeeping support requirements and event timeline.
•Manages services provided during setup, event, post event breakdown.
•Assists host departments and guests as building specialist for security and routes.
Participant in training activities for BCO employees
Assist in the implementation of all divisional and institutional training initiatives.
•participates in training for new hires
Other Duties As Assigned
This position is considered "essential personnel" in the event of suspension of normal operations due to inclement weather or other emergencies. They are required to perform duties as outlined in the Emergency Management Plans.
•Projects as requested by the Director, Patient Care Facilities/BC&O.
•Other incidental or related duties as required.
•As a Management Team member, this position is expected to regularly carry a pager or other communication device to answer questions or give direction if needed. This requirement does not imply any other limits during non-working hours. This time is not considered on-call and will not be compensated.
If assigned, may conduct research on key topical areas and develop targeted presentations for departmental personnel.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Administration or related field. Ten years of related experience in a large institution or hospital. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Salary Range: $52,000 - $65,000 - $78,000
