The Equipment Preparation Attendant in Experimental Radiation Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center provides routine technical assistance in performing assigned duties with centralized equipment washrooms of the laboratory facility.

The ideal candidate will be an independent, motivated individual interested in animal husbandry work. The ideal candidate will be willing to take a course and become certified as an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician.
Minimum: $20,000 Midpoint: $25,000 Maximum: $30,000
Sanitize and prepare cages and water equipment for animals
Sterilize all supplies for animal facility.
Maintain sterile supplies for use by technicians and keep the stringent cleaning program.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred: Willing to take a course and pass the Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) exam administered by AALAS
No experience required.
Preferred: Some experience in animal husbandry work with some science background.
