Reporting to the SVP and CNO, the Director, Clinical Nursing for the Hematology Units provides strategic leadership to the internal and external nursing community in the areas of patient care, education, research and quality. The Director creates collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across the institution to positively impact the business of nursing and patient care outcomes. Responsibilities include all aspects of patient safety, clinical operations, education, research, customer service, finance, human resources, quality outcome management and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include 8 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting, including 5 years of leadership. Experience in hematology patient care is also required. Licensure as a RN; an oncology certification from a national certifying body; a BSN and a Master’s degree is required.
