MD Anderson Cancer Center Coordinator, Research Data - Stem Cell Transplantation in Houston, Texas

The primary purpose of the Senior Research Data Coordinator position is to participate in protocol and data management activities for patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant. Act as liaison with patients, families, physicians and other personnel to collect post-transplant data needed for follow-up.
The salary range is: min-$33,200, mid-$41,500 and max-$49,800
Data management activities:
a. Completes lab data related to donor certification for assigned disease group patients
b. Complete required flow sheets prior to patient's admission to the hospital to include pre-transplant disease information up to study entry.
c. Complete treatment related data within a week of patient's admission.
d. Complete recovery related data within a month of transplant.
e. Perform adverse events data entry on "real time".
f. Complete treatment outcome related data within a month from the D+100 visit
g. Maintain patient's survival data at D+100 and yearly
h. Prepares cases to be presented in Outcome Meetings:
Validates data entry with appropriate source documents
Ensures that adverse events are properly review prior to the meeting.
Take notes to improve data entry
i. Complete CIBMTR forms in FormsNet
a. Review infusion list to ensure that assigned patients have a CRID and required forms are completed and submitted
b. Run monthly BMTweb log query to determine workload and get organize
c. On assigned patients ensures that forms due are submitted in monthly basis.
a. Assist the research team by promoting effective communication and positive work atmosphere among the team members and across the department.
b. Adhere and promote the department's goals.

Other duties as assigned
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required: Two years of related experience. May substitute required experience with completed years of college on a one to one basis.
Preferred: MD Anderson Cancer Center Patient Services Coordinator experience.
