MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Clinical Nurse with two years of RN experience and experience administering chemotherapy.

Minimum - $56,000 - $78,500 - $110,000
Ideal candidate will have a BSN and two years of clinical nursing experience, including experience in chemotherapy administration.
The primary purpose of the Clinical Nurse, Outpatient position is to coordinate and provide clinical aspects of patient care across the continuum to achieve quality patient care.
Clinic Procedures: Manages clinic and outpatient procedures incollaboration with medical and advance practice nursing staff to facilitateand optimize care for the patient and family. Clinical practice will involveadministration of blood products and chemotherapeutic agents.
Patient Communication: Identifies parent, family and patient learningneeds respective to the situation and works with a multidisciplinary team toensure they are met. Acts on behalf of families to ensure care isindividualized, safe and appropriate with consideration of values, diversity, human rights, ages and developmental level of the patient. Utilizes knowledge of Pediatric care, specific cancers and cancer risks, chemotherapy regimens and treatment options to provide information thatassists the family in making informed decisions.
Required: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor's Level Degree
Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN).
Preferred: Certifications in Oncology or related specialty practice area.
Preferred: Two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with experience in chemotherapy administration.
