MD Anderson Cancer Center Business Systems Analyst -Human Capital Management in Houston, Texas
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for participating in the gathering and documentation of functional, technical, integration, and data requirements in order to design, develop, test, implement and support the Human Capital Management applications.
Ideal candidates will have experience with Human Capital Management applications
Assess Business Needs
Formulates and defines solution scope and objectives based on user needs, business needs and a good understanding of Human Capital Management applications and industry best practices. Works directly with customers to review application requirements and ensure proposed solution meets business objectives.
Solve Complex Problems
Designs or enhances solutions to solve complex problems taking into consideration intended use, system capacity and limitations data accessibility, and performance. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specification documents. Advise customers and stakeholders on opportunities for process improvement through automated business processes.
Provided accurate, courteous, and timely technical support to customers for solutions developed by the team and setup and configurations for applications supported. Directs customers to appropriate tools and technical resources when needed. Researches and resolves technical issues for applications supported. Acts as subject matter expert to customers throughout all HCM applications used. Responds to technical support escalations timely.
Drafts technical documentation for solutions developed. Drafts documentation regarding business processes, requirements, and/or business specifications.
Training & Development
Provides beginner, experienced and advanced training on various topics related to Human Capital Management tools. Keeps abreast of vendor software, tools and trends as needed to support technology advancement.
Other duties as assigned
Two years experience in domain, project management ,workflow analysis or Epic software. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Two experience with Human Capital Management applications
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Peoplesoft , Kronos or Taleo application experience
