As thesenior leader for the Supply Chain Services, the Associate Vice President is
responsiblefor planning, leading and directing all strategic and operational aspects for
the department. This position will havethe primary leadership responsibility for sourcing, logistics, receiving,
distribution, inventory, and the historically underutilized business program.
TheAVP has responsibility for cultivating, managing, and growing the relationships
and the partnership between the GPO, UT System Supply Chain Alliance and
institutional activities to maximize savings, value creation and efficiencies
concerning all sourcing functions.
Ten years of relevant experience in supply chain operations at the management
level with experience at an organization of the size and complexity comparable
to MDACC. Five years experience at the Director level and experience at an
academic medical center or a large health system is highly preferred.
PeopleSoft software experience preferred.
