The Hematopathology department provides diagnostic services and specialized testing for patients with all types of leukemia, lymphoma and benign hematologic disorders.
We specialize in the diagnosis of a range of hematological disorders, including:
Acute and chronic leukemia
Benign bone marrow and lymph node disorders
B-cell lymphomas and T-cell lymphomas
Performs administrative functions which may include oversight of secretarial workflow, monitoring and reconciling company center activity, and training secretarial support staff.
Performs general Sr. Secretarial functions including transcribing dictation, input calendar entries, travel,
arranging conferences, responding to patient diagnosis inquiries, arrange UPS shipments, and preparation/submission/maintenance of manuscripts/protocols/abstracts/CVs/book chapters/articles/references.
Prepares complex word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, including formatting tables, charts, graphs, and images.
Complex Document Submissions
Coordinates complex aspects and ensures timely submission of required documentation (electronically or by hard copy) for institutional and governmental grants. This will include formatting, manipulating
images, tracking stages, alerting investigators, and initiating response process.
High school diploma or equivalent. Four years of administrative/secretarial experience. With preferred degree, no experience required. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
