MD Anderson Cancer Center Accountant I - Financial Planning and Analysis in Houston, Texas
The primary purpose of the Accountant I position is to monitor and support the institutional capital activities.
The analyst will assist as required in the development, initiation and maintenance of the capital equipment budgets and projects in the long term capital plan.
The analyst will review Facility Funding Acquisition Transmittal (FATs) and ReFATs for accuracy, compliance with budget, funding limits and internal controls, and for other required information prior to approval by Executive Director.
The analyst will review all Cap Plan and Non-Cap Plan capital purchase requisitions for accuracy, compliance with budget, funding limits and internal controls, and for other required information prior to approval by Associate Director.
The analyst will process these transactions in PeopleSoft and record applicable information in the internal tracking and monitoring databases.
Salary Range: Minimum $44,800 - Midpoint $57,400 - Maximum $70,000
Required : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related.
Required: One year of experience required with degree in Business Administration or related field. With a degree in Accounting, no experience is required. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
